Cause analysis

Solving methods

When the hammer head goes up, it strokes the cover
of working cylinder, even bump the cover out.

1.The steel ball of ball type one way valve and hole seat doesn't joint tightly or wear down,so it can't do seal action.
2.The seal pad between working cylinder and top cover broken, it doesn't work.
3.The top face of hammer rod loose make the cushion area volume large, so the air pressure can't go high.
4.The height of cushion area not enough.

1.Replace the steel ball on time to let it match tightness.      
2. Replace the seal pad on time.
3.It's better adopt interference match between block cover and top face hole of hammer rod and perimeter rivet.
4. Add pad ring between working cylinder and top cover to add cushion area height.      

When the hammer head rising, it can't drive the appropriate height (the top anvil flat is higher than the lower
cover of hammer head
guide), that will make the hit energy is not enough and even doesn't working.

1. When the piston is located the highest or lowest place, the air hole of piston and the air hole of piston rod and the top and below air replenishing hole don't coincide, and the air
replenishing is not enough, so the pressure force is too low and make the hit energy is not enough.
2. The pressure air hole may have several leakage in the place as follows:
A. the hammer rod and compression piston have the connected sand hole, bubble etc.
B. the piston ring and the cylinder will have loose contact or ruptured or the connecting
piece clearance is too large.
C. The cock clearance is too large or wear down leakage.
D. the seal of check valve is not good, and spring is not strong or break off.
E. The two cylinders lead have severe leakage.
F. The seal ring in the piston lead have air leakage.
3.The friction of hammer rod increase because of the following reason.
A. The working cylinder lead is skew, and the hammer rod is jammed.
B. The clearance of the hammer rod and lead clear

1.Open the head cover in order to view or use the measure method to get and correct the miss distance.
2. Removal methods aiming to leakage:          
⑴The cock can use the "101" nylon powder painting, first install the rotate valve on the lathe, cut 1-2mm of outside diameter and then heated it to 300℃ and rotate
the cock slowly, paint the "101"
nylon powder on the surface with gunjet till there are some turning,
make the turning concert the
tolerance is H9/d9 after cooling,
we can also adopt the copperize to repair.
⑵We can adopt bushing method
for the piston lead wear out is used to bushing method and or change periodically, that can avoid piston rod and lead and air cylinder wear out.
3.Aim at the cause and repair it.
⑴the clearance of the hammer rod
and lead is better used the H9/b9.
⑵When the hammer rod upset and operate, decrease the deviating hit and cold hit.    
⑶ The revolve method of for the hammer surface breakage, ensure the lubrication, and use the oilstone to rub the bright hard point “nubs" , the clearance of lead should ensure uniformity.
(4) Maintain foundation, and level up frame.

The handle is flexible
when the hammer doesn't work, but after the hammer start to work, the handle have sense of heaviness, especially when the hammer head rotate from hanging to slight hit, the handle is not flexible and the hit energy is difficult to control.              

1.The air pressure of the below chamber of working cylinder is too large and when the hammer head is lay in on the hanging place, the air pressure of below ring-typed cylinder of piston rises times, and the force is acted on the below ring flat of the piston and the below cock was pushed to one side and cling to valve packet tightly, this make the operation convenient.        
2.The air port of the top and below cock and valve packet isn't coincided.    
3.The clearance between cock and valve packet is too small.
4.The top and below cock totate out of step or cock and valve rod aren't concentric.  

1. You can add to the small through hole on the outer diameter of working piston which is adjacent to the top valve air cavity and that can make the air pressure of lower ring cylinder decrease, meanwhile lightening the cylinder heating.    
2.Open the rear cover of top and below cock,
and inspect the scribed line whether is coincided or measure the relationship of different air hole When is located different places, and according to the finding problem and correct the troubles.
3.the clearance cock and valve packet is H9/b9.        
4.Repair the small axle of cock and make it concentric.                      

When the hammer head rising, the hammer body uplift
and vibrate upwards, and it is difficult to control and it is not safety.        

  1. The angle place and angle size of air port between the top and below cock, between the valve and valve pocket are don't coincided and that make the outlet of top cylinder air blocking or compress air come into the top cylinder in air pocket of valve that should be closed. the air of top cylinder hinder the hammer rod rising, and make the hammer body uplift.            

  2. The piston ring of hammer rod ruptures or the clearance of piston ring mouthpiece is too large. make the air of below cylinder flew into the top cylinder.      

  3. The clearance between the top cock and valve packet is too large, to impact the right place.      

eliminate the troubles according to the occurring causes. If the clearance between cock and valve packet is large than 1-1.5 times, we should repair it immediately.                      

There is abnormal sound in the cylinder  

1. The cause of working cylinder occurs the sound:
(1)the top anvil block is loose. (2)lead plate of lead is loose.
(3)the seal ring of lead is broken off,or locating screw is broken off.
(4)the blanking cover of top hammer rod is loose.
(5)the piston ring is broken off, the hole of locating screw is broken off.
2.the cause of compression cylinder occurs the sound.
(1)the locating screw in the compression cylinder is loose
and broken off, that make the lead freely.
⑵drive gear is loose, and the lateral clearance is too large.                ⑶the clearance between gear of connecting rod and pin in too large.  
⑷the locating screw of seal ring is loose or broken off.               ⑸the connecting rod pin move and knock the lead.
⑹the crank shaft and gear connected loosely.

1.Fasten the components tightly
when engendering the sound because of the looseness, and should
fasten the components tightly.      2.Locating screw quit, then screw it
and rivet it, but it shouldn't be too
tight to avoid to influence the disassembly.  

The oil pump doesn't
supply oil,(the oil pipe
of translucent cover doesn't drop oil).  

1. The one-way valve of pipe joint of hammer body doesn't work, that is, the steel ball is jammed or spring is pressed too tightly.
2. The oil joint or the four hexagonal socket oil plug of the two flank of oil pump cover is leaked oil and air.      

1. Dismount the pipe joint and readjust the one-way valve, and make the force isn't too large between spring and steel ball isn't too large, and the steel ball don't can't move freely.
2. Screw in the pipe joint screw nut and hexagonal socket oil plug tightly.
